Description
|
Istat pubblishes a preliminary estimate of the growth rates of GDP, added value and employment, for the last data reference year, at the geographical distribution level and 6 macro economic sectors. These provisional estimates are obtained through an econometric model that uses an estimate of regional employment as the main indicator, carried out using data from the Labor Force sample survey (for each of the occupational typologies), accompanied by specific indicators of sectoral performance. Only for the agriculture and fisheries sector micro-data is available.
The estimate is carried out on the aggregates at previous year's prices and subsequently transformed into values at current prices on the basis of an implied deflator.
