[C] - Quarterly national accounts labour input by economic activity
Description In the context of Quarterly National Accounts (QNA), quarterly labour input is measured through a set of variables: the number of employed persons, the number of job positions, the total hours worked, and full-time equivalent units (FTE). Similar to the CET system, the limited availability of direct observations on a quarterly basis makes it necessary to use estimation methods based on indicators, primarily from Istat sources. The econometric estimation techniques consist of distributing the annual accounting data by quarter, in line with the trend of the quarterly reference indicators (both raw and seasonally adjusted), while ensuring consistency with the annual data. The process follows the same revision policy for data releases as the one used for CET, which can be consulted at the following link: https://www.istat.it/notizia/i-conti-economici-trimestrali-edizione-2024/"
