Description
|
Social protection economic accounts by function (social security, health and social assistance).
The process shows the detailed expenditures of social benefits (which correspond to what is paid to the beneficiaries of social protection systems in terms of cash benefits and benefits in kind), provided by public and private institutions, analyzed by function or protected risk (sickness, disability, family, old age, survivors, unemployment, housing, social exclusion not elsewhere classified) and aggregated by sector of activity: health, social security, social assistance.
The methodology used is provided by the European System of integrated Social Protection Statistics Sespros (EC Regulation 458/2007), consistent with the European System of National Accounts ESA2010 (EU Regulation 549/2013).
