Description

The survey on livestock produces statistics on the number of bovine animals, pigs, sheep and goats. It has to be produced twice a year: 1° june and 1° december of each year on the basis of the European Regulation (the last one is Reg. (EC) No 1165/2008).
The survey was sample-based and carried out every six months with reference to 1 June and 1 December until 2021. From 2022 to 2023 the survey was continued to be carried out in December, while administrative data were used in June. From 2024, administrative data in both June and December were used.
