Description
|
The estimates produced within the Air emissions accounts (AEA) consistently with the Eurostat methodology, concern air emissions , emission intensity of production, value added and employment by pollutant, industry (A64) and households’ consumption. The primary data source for emissions data is the national emission inventory produced by Istituto Superiore per la Ricerca e la Protezione Ambientale (Ispra) and used for Italian Communications within the framework of international conventions: United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the UNECE Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution (CLRTAP). A bridge table is specifically devoted to show the link between AEA emission totals and totals calculated by Ispra within the quoted international conventions.
