The survey refers to the Customs Agency archive which contains customs and statistical information. The Customs Agency collects information and provides data to Istat.
The survey is carried out on a monthly basis and is carried out by processing data from a fiscal-administrative database (Single Administrative Document - SAD) consistent with the definitions and classifications of the type
statistical. These are subsequently harmonized and validated through a control and review process
expert carried out by the Institute.
