On January 1, 2010, Regulation (EU) 543/2009 (replacing the previous Regulations 837/90 and 959/93) came into force, innovating the field of agricultural crops. Starting in 2025, Regulation (EU) 2022/2379 comes into force, repealing the previous Regulation 543/2009 and recodifying agricultural crops. This survey is useful for preparing initial estimates of agricultural crops while awaiting the first provisional data collected nationwide.
The data is also provided to the National Accounts upon request.
